ExxonMobil’s history in Texas began over 100 years ago and continues today with facilities across the state in over 80 counties including a state-of-the-art Houston campus and refineries and chemical complexes in Baytown, Beaumont, Mt. Belvieu and the Corpus Christi area. ExxonMobil and its subsidiary XTO Energy, is the largest producer of natural gas and the sixth largest producer of oil in Texas based on 2020 production.
